In Derivatives and  Patterns, Catharine takes an image - usually a flower, might be a building,  stylises or distorts it to emphasise its essence. Then, sometimes, she repeats and tessalates the image to form a pattern, perhaps with a fabric or wallpaper in mind. She never followed up the possibilities; feel free to do so!
